219 people hospitalized with dengue
In the last 24 hours, 219 more people have been admitted to hospitals due to dengue. No one has died of dengue during this period.
This information was given in a notification sent by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Friday (September 26). In the notification, the Directorate General of Health Services gave information for the 24 hours from 8 am on Thursday (September 25) to 8 am on Friday.
It said that among the patients admitted to hospitals due to dengue in the last 24 hours, there are 43 in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), 74 in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), 40 in Dhaka North City Corporation area, 39 in Dhaka South City Corporation area and 23 in Mymensingh division (outside the City Corporation).
Meanwhile, 255 dengue patients across the country have been discharged from hospitals in the last one day. With this, 42,478 people have been discharged this year.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said that 44,692 patients have been admitted to hospitals from January to September 26 this year. So far this year, 188 people have died of dengue.
